Chick-fil-A fans discover a spin-off 'all you can eat' restaurant in an unexpected location.

Did you know there’s a special Chick-fil-A location where you can eat as much as you want? Yes, it’s true—and it’s only available at one place in the entire U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. This unique all-you-can-eat experience is found at the University of Oklahoma, and it’s been serving students since 2005.

Unlimited Chick-fil-A at the University of Oklahoma

The special Chick-fil-A outlet is located inside Couch Restaurants Diner, a large dining hall connected to a freshman dorm at the University of Oklahoma. Students, university staff, and their guests can enjoy unlimited Chick-fil-A nuggets, sandwiches, and waffle fries with just one meal card swipe.

But there’s a small rule: all food must be eaten inside the dining hall. Even though students have tried sneaking food out, the deal is meant to be enjoyed on the spot.

A Unique Setup You Won’t Find Anywhere Else

Out of Chick-fil-A’s 3,000+ locations across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, this is the only one that offers an all-you-can-eat option. While not every item from the usual Chick-fil-A menu is available, the variety is still enough to keep students excited and coming back for more.

If you’re not a student or staff member, don’t worry—you can still visit. You just need to tag along with someone who is, as guests are allowed too.

Why Aren’t There More Like It?

Although this unique location has been popular for years, Chick-fil-A hasn’t expanded the all-you-can-eat model to other locations. Instead, the company continues to focus on other creative ideas and projects.

One example is the Community Heroes program. Every time a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opens, the local branch awards 100 people with a year’s worth of free entrees. Each winner gets 52 meals to use over the next 12 months, and the recipients are chosen by the restaurant’s operator based on their community work.

More Unique Chick-fil-A Locations

Chick-fil-A also runs a few other special restaurants under different names, such as the S. Truett Cathy Brand Restaurants. These locations offer themed environments, unique menus, and of course, the classic Chick-fil-A favorites.

One of its more recent experiments is The Little Blue Menu, a test site in College Park, Maryland. This spot features menu items like pizza and tater tots, which you won’t find at a regular Chick-fil-A.

Fast Food Competition Is Heating Up

Other chains are also making changes to keep up with customer expectations. Just recently, Chili’s made a big move to take on Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s by adding bottomless chips to its menu and opening a special pop-up location. This comes in response to complaints about rising fast food prices and the need to offer more value.

The all-you-can-eat Chick-fil-A at the University of Oklahoma is a dream come true for students—and one-of-a-kind. With unlimited food, good company, and a student-friendly setup, it’s no wonder this location has remained a campus favorite for nearly two decades. While Chick-fil-A doesn’t seem likely to open more locations like this one anytime soon, its creative ideas and community-focused programs show the brand is still evolving in other ways.
