Percy Pig, a popular confectionery brand in the United Kingdom, has made its first appearance on American store shelves.
The gummy treat became available in Target stores on March 30, but it is already out of stock for pickup and delivery.
Percy Pig Gummy Candy is a pink, pig-shaped gummy from British retailer Marks and Spencer (M&S).
Percy Pig, the candy’s namesake mascot, has become a long-standing brand ambassador.
The sweets resemble a smiling Percy with gummy ears in flavours ranging from raspberry and strawberry to cherry and grape.
The snack has been vegan since 2022.
Percy Pig, which dates back to 1992, is one of the most popular candies in the United Kingdom, with over 20 million units sold last year.
M&S food marketing director Sharry Cramond expressed excitement about bringing Percy Pig sweets to the US and introducing the character to new audiences.
“Over the years, Percy has evolved from a popular gummy into a brand with its own personality, complete with friends, adventures, and even his own story.
“He’s more than a confectionery character; he’s a national treasure, and now we can’t wait for American fans to experience the joy and deliciousness that Percy brings.”
The iconic candy has been promoted by celebrities such as Harry Styles, Adele, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Rodrigo’s video went viral on social media in 2024 after she tried Percy Pig Gummy Candy during a tour break.
M&S Head of Product Development Kathryn Turner expressed her hope that Percy will become an even bigger icon with a presence in the United States.
“The original Percy Pig sweet is truly an iconic product that has stood the test of time with more than 30 years of history.”
“The fact that he remains just as popular today as M&S’s bestselling sweet line, is a testament to everything that makes the sweet so special – the delicious Percy berry & grape flavour combined with the perfect balance of foam and jelly and, of course, the joy he brings to so many.”
The product has already been listed on Target’s website.

Percy Pig Gummy Candy has already received high praise on Target’s website, with a 4.5 star rating and recommendations from 85% of customers.
“It’s such a shame that these are so hard to come by, our local Target had three bags in stock – they’ve not had any since,” one fan wrote on the Target website.
